Feed preferences
Topics, countries and known-story identifiers use browser storage. The “remember my preferences” choice is off by default for new visitors. Without it, feed choices use sessionStorage in the current tab. With it, they use localStorage across visits. Reading position uses sessionStorage.
Access and third parties
The site’s hosting and publisher authentication services may use storage for access and security. Those services have their own notices. External links open other websites; the current edition does not embed their tracking widgets.
No advertising or analytics storage
ishowcrime currently loads no advertising or analytics script. Introducing one requires updated notices and any applicable consent mechanism before non-essential tracking begins.
Your device choices
Keep preferences for this tab, or choose to remember your topics, countries and known-story list across visits. We use this only to personalise your feed and count new stories.
